TANGLED STATEMENT

The contemptuous relationship between hope and doom is a looming presence on the planet and ongoing subtext of my work.  We must find ways to develop a symbiotic relationship between the nature of man and the the natural world.

​

This work contains visual metaphors that exist in a fallen limb, a twisted vine, and manipulated juxtapositions of the natural world. By exploiting sites ripe for interpretation; my images meld natural and unnatural spaces to demonstrate internal and external tensions in of the human condition.
